Physical Education

The Joy of Movement
In our school, physical education happens every other day, and focuses on developing delight in physical movement, while also broadening students' range of movement. Exercises are developed and practiced daily, with the aim being perfect form. This routine of exercise helps students to develop, while games are designed to prominently feature to draw students into the fun of physical activity. Themes of sportsmanship and competing with grace also are explicitly taught and reinforced.

Mind, Body, and Character
When we acknowledge that a human being is a unity of mind and body, physical education must play an integral role in our curriculum. It is through physical education that our students celebrate the potential innate within them, all while growing in both wisdom and virtue.
