Stuart D. Saunders

Stuart D. Saunders graduated from the University of Texas at Austin’s school of business with a BBA in Finance and Baylor University School of Law with a JD.  Mr. Saunders is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.  He has career experience in both the legal and banking fields with executive responsibilities ranging from private law practice, bank general counsel, private investment management, to Chairman of the Board.  His legal practice focused primarily on banking and commercial financing transactions, while his business endeavors centered primarily around banking and real estate investing.  Currently Mr. Saunders serves on a variety of for-profit and non-profit boards, and is Chair of Live Oak Bancshares, Inc, a Texas bank holding company.  Stuart is also a Senior Fellow in the American Leadership Forum.
