Pastor Paul Dirden

Reverend Paul Dirden serves as a pastor of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church where he leads the youth ministry. Pastor Dirden is passionate and committed to improving the life of every child. Through discipleship and training, Paul nourishes their spiritual growth and the gift of serving within.

After graduating from Forest Brook High School, he attended Sam Houston State University for 2 years before enlisting into the United States Armed Services. Pastor Dirden served in the United States Navy for six years and the Texas Army National Guard for seven years. He credits his military service for giving him strength and discipline in day to day living. Pastor Dirden and his wife, Shirley, are the proud parents of two children, Courtney and Madison.
